Jaipur: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that the Congress represents the three sins of nepotism, corruption, and appeasement that are keeping India from reaching the status of a developed country.
Speaking at a public gathering in Rajasthan's Baran district, which is headed for elections, the prime minister claimed that the state's citizens are suffering because the ruling party has turned them over to bandits, thieves, and other criminals.
It will be challenging to fulfill the resolution to make India a developed nation as long as the three enemies of the country—corruption, nepotism, and appeasement—remain among us. "The Congress represents these three evils the most," Modi said to the assembly.]
"The public is suffering and everyone is unruly, including ministers and Congress MLAs." He declared, "Robbers, rioters, tyrants, and criminals have taken over the people of Rajasthan thanks to the Congress."
He continued, "Even kids in Rajasthan are saying, 'Gehlot ji, you won't get votes.'"
