New Delhi: Following the conclusion of his election campaign on May 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meditate at the Rock Memorial, a monument erected in honour of Swami Vivekananda near Kanyakumari, where the seer had a vision of Bharat Mata.
"Prime Minister Modi will visit Kanyakumari from May 30 to June 1," according to sources. The Prime Minister will travel to Kanyakumari to see the Rock Memorial and spend May 30–June 1 evenings there, spending the entire day in meditation at the Dhyan Mandapam, the same location where Swami Vivekanand once meditated.
"After election campaigns, the Prime Minister is known to embark on spiritual expeditions. He travelled to Kedarnath in 2019 and Shivaji's Pratapgarh in 2014, they said.
The prime minister will meditate on this rock, which had a significant influence on Swami Vivekanand's life. People think that, much as Sarnath was significant to Gautam Buddha's life, this rock was also significant to Swami Vivekananda's life.
After travelling the entire nation in search of a place to mediate for three days, Swami Vivekananda landed here with a vision of an advanced India. By meditating in the same location, the Prime Minister demonstrates his dedication to realising Swamiji's dream of a "Viksit Bharat." According to accounts, Goddess Parvati likewise stood on one foot and concentrated there while she awaited Lord Shiva.
